Wait, what? Apple sued over iPod and iPhone media playback

It’s not a normal week unless someone decides it is time to sue Apple. Adding to the ever growing pile this time around is Affinity Labs, who has sued Apple in the past, and who claims that Apple is violating two patents related to media playback.

The lawsuit calls into question the media playback functionality of the “iPhone, iPod touch and iPhone line of products.” We’re assuming they mean iOS.

We’re not patent lawyers, so we’re not going to pretend that we know what these complaints include, or how they’ll affect the companies, but if you’re interested in seeing more information on the patents in question you can get them here:
